The Slim Mini Delta trimming tool features the same Delta Mini tip from the Delta & Loop Mini, now paired with a slim, lightweight handle designed for maximum precision on the smallest forms and finest details.

Previously available only as part of a double-ended tool, the Delta Mini tip is now offered on its own dedicated handle. This allows the tool to rest cleanly in a cup or on the wheel tray without a tip contacting the surface, helping protect the edge and keep your workspace tidy.

The slimmer handle reduces weight and increases sensitivity, making the Delta Mini Slim ideal for defining sharp edges, refining tight profiles, and working confidently on very small pots where control is critical.

Key Features:

  • Tungsten Carbide Tip: Extremely hard and wear-resistant for smooth, clean trims. The flat edge provides excellent control for crisp lines and sharp transitions.

  • Slim Handle Design: Lightweight and responsive for enhanced precision.

  • Single-Ended Format: Easier to set down cleanly between trimming passes.

  • Ultra-Fine Trimming: Perfect for very small pots and intricate detail work.

Designed for potters who work at a smaller scale, the Slim Mini Delta offers precision without distraction.

Frequently asked questions

  • Tungsten Carbide is a super hard, wear-resistant metal compound commonly used in industrial cutting tools. It’s much harder than steel and holds an edge exceptionally well—making it ideal for trimming tools that are built to last.

  • Tungsten Carbide tips stay sharper significantly longer than traditional steel tools, meaning cleaner cuts, more consistent results, and fewer replacements. They’re designed for long-term performance—even with heavy use.

  • Don’t worry—it happens! Tungsten Carbide is extremely hard but also brittle. That’s why we designed our trimming tools with replaceable tips. If your tip breaks, you can easily order a replacement on our website and swap it out.

  • Yes—if you choose to! While our Tungsten Carbide tips are designed to stay sharp for a very long time, they can be sharpened using a fine diamond file (600 grit or higher). Just be sure to use a light touch and file only as needed to avoid changing the shape or edge geometry of the tip.
